And then what?

Spooking myself isn't easy. I have a relatively high tolerance for otherworldly journeys. But now and then, sometimes more often than not, at least since the darkness came upon our land, the fear being imposed on us could not possibly compare to the fear that lies within. Frightening thoughts that never filtered through my consciousness present themselves at times unwelcome; the silence of screams grows unbearable and threatens to escape.

What if there is more than one dark night of the soul?
